​Responsibilities

​

• Greet patients and families with professionalism and warmth

• Answer phone calls, emails, faxes and schedule appointments

• Check patients in and out efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organised clinic space

• Maintain patient medical records

• Assist with patient care tasks such as weighing patients and preparing exam rooms

• Support clinical staff as needed to ensure smooth patient flow

• Providing coverage for other staff during their absence

• Other administrative tasks​​​

Qualifications

​

• 2-3 years of experience as a medical receptionist/admin

• Completion of any relevant programs such as Medical Office Administration is preferred.

• Familiar with using an EMR

• Pediatric or walk in clinic experience is an asset

• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

• Enjoy interacting with children and families

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent computer skills

• Ability to work as a team player
